DSP: What are you currently working on?
Vanessa: Right now I have several projects coming up. I just recently wrapped up a small role in an indie film titled "Misfortune". Next week, I am doing a kick ass photo shoot for fetiseur.com, in which I play the role of an 18th century victorian vampire with many bloody sexy naked ladies all around me! Grrrrrrrrrr..... That shoot is exclusively for that website and a rope bondage shoot for the site are also being arranged, so check out the site!

DSP: At what point in your life did you realize that modeling was something you wanted to do professionally?
Vanessa: When I realized that beauty comes in all shapes, style, looks, and origins. Also, I try and keep my modeling to a specific style. I'm not just another pretty face... I believe I have gotten to where I am because of who I am, the music I love, and the belief that a woman can be beautiful, sexy, vicious, smart, and kick your ass all at once!

DSP: Is there anything or anyone in particular that has inspired you?
Vanessa: Yes, Marilyn Monroe is my inspiration for everything. She was a girl who had a very tough and hard life and despite people always putting her down... she went out and conquered the world. She was beautiful inside and out. Through her I learned that I can do whatever I want! I am in very many ways alot like her.... I also get alot of my modeling technique off of her own! She is my idol!

DSP: When did you start modeling?
Vanessa: When I was about 17 years old. I modeled for mosehalters.com. It was my first ever photoshoot and it turned out pretty good and I then realized that I wasn't all that bad at it and I persued it further.

DSP: Who have you modeled for so far? Any big names?
Vanessa: I am a Gene Simmons lady in waiting for his magazine Tongue. Varla Magazine, Bizarre Magazine, Sourpuss Clothing.

DSP: If you could model for anyone, who would it be and why?
Vanessa: Ummm.... I have no clue. I really try to keep myself sort of hidden in the punk rock, glam rock, rockabilly, psychobilly network... My modeling is all about my attitude. I'm a punk rocker at heart.

DSP: What do you hope to accomplish in your career in the future?
Vanessa: Well, right now, I am hoping to land a fun, creative, artistic job in the graphic design field! I think it would be awesome to work for a major magazine or record label! I also hope that I can be successfull in my independent company"Blazing Heart Productions". Also, I hope that I can start getting more acting oppurtunities... I really would like to break into acting alot more! Perhaps do a few serious dramas, or horror films!

DSP: Is there any advice you'd like to give to others hoping to be a model one day, or anything you'd like to say to all of your supporters?
Vanessa: Yeah, society is full of assholes. If you wanna do something do it! Don't let anyone put you down. If you are confident and hungry for something... it is possible. There are many models in the world... but it's all about attitude. I am not a size 2 and not even a size 7. But it's who I am that got me as far as I've gone and it's the things I stand for that people appreciate about me. I'm not all about modeling... truth be known... that I could just as easily get married and have kids and give it all up. But until that days occurs I will enjoy my looks while I have them and see what all I can accomplish before I am an old lady, laying fat in my bed.
